Tia Turns 2!!!

Happy Birthday My Little Tia, man where do I begin.  Tia is so much fun, she is polite, excited about everything and doesn't miss a beat.  She was so adorable all two days we celebrated, I wish I had a Video Camera on her the whole time. Thanks for all who came to the Festives and all the Fun Gifts.  HOLY COW!!!!!!  

      5 things I am loving about Tia...........She calls Pocket....Pockee and Jacket Jackee....... She wants you to hold her and sit on the couch constantly......... She climbs out of her crib in the night to come and check on mom and dad........She dances like she is riding a horse but only in a circle with one stiff leg.....................She tells us when she is Poopy and brings her diaper to prove it.   Thanks Tia!!!

Tia got this Bear from our adopted Grandparents Katie and Waki.  It sings and dances and is the most adorable thing I have ever seen.  The songs just make you happy.  Thanks Guys.

Letter to Parents:

So I am laying in bed last night when Russ told me he wrote his parents last week, this is what he wrote, I cracked up and had to journal this so I would have it forever.  Man I love him, he is a riot.  Thanks Russ.

Hello Mom and Dad,

It is good to hear from you. I am sorry to hear that Dad had a nasty fall, we will stop praying that you will be humble, instead just healthy. The family is doing well. I am working a lot. You would never think working 6 days straight would be hard but it is. We are positive though because most people right now are just glad to have work.

Madison and Dakoda are doing well in school. Dakoda loves his teacher (Mandi) and I do too. Tia is now taking off her own diaper and showing us that it is "Poopy"

Mandi is busy saving us money on groceries, teaching cute kids, learning about photo editing software, updating our blog, planning our vacations and just outright saving the world.

I finished my hunters safety class and I am planning a hunt with Mandi's family and maybe some folks from work.

I put our genealogy on the church website but I accidentally sealed Mandi to her Grandfather. I hope I did not mess the whole thing up.

Mandi and I are trying to get the temple as much as possible so I can work at the veil, the last time we went the sessions were full so we ended up doing sealings.


It is good to hear from you two keep up the great work, we will keep praying for you and for heaven sakes stay in a good athletic position when walking and shaky ground.

Sledding @ Mt. Charleston

One thing we have loved about where we live is we are within 20-30 minutes from the mountains of Vegas.  Mount Charleston .There is a ski resort and great places to go 4 wheeling.  It has been a good get away for us.

We met up with our Good Friends from Omaha The Perrows.  Guy, Jen, Chloe, Eli and Dash.  The kids have missed them so much and they all picked up where we left off.  We had a great couple days with them.  What more could a kid as for???????

2 Weeks of FUN

we have sure had a couple weeks of fun........
and yes i would love to share some with you....although i did leave my laptop in Cedar City Utah....
so I will tell you about it and post pictures later. It all started playing in St. George while Russ and Koda went up to the State Wrestles. He and Koda watched our nephews Mitch and Brock who did very well at State. Great Job Boys, Mitch took first and Brock Third.
From there we met some friends from Omaha at Disneyland for a couple days. We had the best time ever. Thanks Perrows. There is nothing better than seeing your kids so happy with friends. Disney was not busy so the lines were short and our neighbor got us in Free, what could be better. thanks Leiatua's.
We then came home for two days and took off again. Dani and Wade watched the kids while Russ and I went with Craig and Julie (cousins) to Briand head for a few days riding snowmobiles, sitting in Hot Tubs, playing games, Eating yummy food and Hot Chocolate. We HAD SO MUCH FUN..thanks Craig and Julie, Dani and Wade. What a fun time...... We have made some fun memories these last two weeks and been with people we love. I am so grateful for the time.....................and had a blast with my hubby.

  I think I am going to start a blog of my Digital scrapbooking pages so you all don't have to see how creative I am getting,  unless of coarse you would like to ........ it's so much fun, yet time consuming.  I stay up so late playing with photoshop I have made myself totally sick.  Head ache, snuffy nose, soar throat and plugged ears.  No Joke.  I need to prioritize things.  BUT again way FUN.
