I can honestly say this was one of our Most Memorable Trips Yet........Thanks Mainly to wonderful friends. We flew out on Wednesay after school. The kids haven't flown for a while so that is always fun. But to make it even better the kids were invited to be the Stewerdess and Steward....They loved it, handing out the snacks, getting some major attention and even their names mentioned over the speaker. Fun times.......

Our trip started by a wonderful Breakfast at the Kirchauffers home. Home made wheat pancakes. YUM. Then a trip up to Pikes Peak.

You will see many different pictures I have experimented with on Instagram.......pretty random I know..

This Bear was in the store at the top of Pikes Peak. We went so high up on the mountain that we got into some clouds, the kids couldn't believe we took them to the clouds, they loved it.

The Air Force Academy is so amazing to me. I have heard so many of Russ's stories and yet it seems so unreal and mysteries. This is the Chapel behind us.

Dallas Thompson, One of Russ's good buddies from the football team. I finally got to meet Dallas on this Trip, we have talked on the phone but never met. He just happened to be there the same weekend to a football game and reunion.

It was also 9/11 weekend so we say some cool tributes, Koda was standing at attention like the cadets, who knows maybe he'll be one oneday.

These guys were great friends at the Academy, Brooks and his wife were Sponsors for these boys while they were in school. Amazing families. They all made the trip so wonderful. Dain and Kristen let us stay in their basement and it was so pleasent. Thanks Guys.

Dain is the team doctor right now for the Air Force Football Team.

While we were there, Mitch our nephew was on a recruiting trip there also for wrestling, so fun to meet up with everyone....GOOO MITCH!!!!!

I am telling you I LOVE FOOTBALL, but there is no other football experience like there is a game at the Air Force Academy. The Cadets, the Jets, the Flags, the Patriotic spirit. It is actually a bit depressing when the game ends cause the build up is so UNREAL. Gotta try it... I want to go back....

Dani and Wade were so kind to invite us on the Houseboat for another fun week. We had so much fun with family especially some crazy cousins. All the kids get a long so well and are so great to be around.

Koda and Jaden are such good buds, they keep the competition going and are like little brothers.

What some amazing memories...We love you all.

We sure did have a fun couple days with our friends from Omaha, Chloe, Eli, and Dash. We met up with them in SLC for some fun times. We spent one day at Seven Peaks Water Park. Then another day shopping and going to the movie. We miss this family so much. The kids were inseperable with them while we all lived in Omaha. We moved 3.5 years ago, they moved shorlty after and now live in CA. So fun to spend time with them. We love them to death.

Little Mermaid is amazing.....Must go if your going to be in St. George anytime soon, Our friend Peyton played Flounder and did an AMAZING job.

I am so angry I do not have a picture of the kids catching crawdads, it was adorable. They pretty much were fishing in the river the whole time, they cam to swim for just a couple minutes, They had a blast. We love Veyo. We almost forget about it, but went there tons when we were kids. Nothing like a pool, river and Hamburger. FUN TIMES.

Great time in the Mountains with friends. Mt. Charleston is a fresh of breathe air for us here in Vegas during the summer. Thanks Casen for inviting us to your party...

NOW this was a fun trip, We loaded on four wheelers and took about a five hour ride all over Fishlake.

Stopping for a nice little picnic, but soon was eaten alive by mesquitos....

The three terrors on four wheelers, boy they laughed and laughed and had a blast..

There was a part on the mountain that was amazing to look over, This seriously is one of the most beautiful parts of Utah I have ever seen. Fun Memories.

The kids found snow, Ya we went pretty high up the mountain. But I think the kids highlight was all the small pounds and rivers we had to drive through.....Super fun and dirty and wet. I only wish I could have caught it on film.

And boy does it work, Madi has already had three lessons and is playing Jolley Old St. Nicholas

like a Pro. Hee hee. I just need to refabric the bench......Any ideas.

Camp Kolob....Zions Narrows Hike

All I can say is our WHOLE family loves loves loves the mountains. This past trip was to Kolob Res. What a beautiful place. The kids could ride their four wheelers all over.......we could see them for miles. The Res was right by our camp site so they could go canoe in their boat anytime and we could see them safely yet eagerly work their arms to death.......

Russ picked up the new boat just prior to the trip and boy did they love it. It was hilarious actually.

Dani, Wade and the kids joined us, the cousins had a their own secret camp just up from us. It was stashed with sticks they had carved and candy hidden all over the place.

My mom and dad met us up there one morning and we drove over to Zions and hiked the Narrows. This is the most amazing fun hike in the world. SERIOUSLY you have to try it. The kids were amazing. We can't wait to go back.

About a year ago we challenged Madi to read the Book Of Mormon before she is baptised. Well she did it. The day before

her baptism she finished it. WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT.

Madison Turned 8 on June 17th. This is such a special birthday for so many reasons. We are so proud to have such an amazing daughter that is so much fun, energetic, and so dang adorable.

Madi Chose Cracker Barrel for her Birthday Lunch (is that hilarious to anyone else?) We loved it.

We surprised her with some REAL earrings. Here she is with her Daddy getting ready for the piercing.

Kudos for Madi and Koda, These are some amazing triathletes......They did a wonderful Job.

The SWIM................They both looked so good swimming. This is when I started bawling. Seriously when watching them do something challenging and trying so hard I couldn't help it. I was so proud of them.

We loved the BIKE..... Madi made us laugh, but when Koda came by he was working super hard......

The RUN........Was the best of all, they could hear everyone cheering the whole time and they couldn't help but smile. WOW, they did so well. Thanks Kiddos for being so FUN

After church on Sunday we headed over to Grandpa and Grandma Browns new home, this amazing playground is in their backyard. It's perfect. We had a wonderful meal and were able to visit a while. We love the Browns. What an amazing family.

I can honestly say this is one of those trips I just can't explain. What Friends, What Family and What fun. The greatest trip ever. Michelle and Cam Kelsch invited us to Malibu, we stayed in little cabins by thier Fitness Ridge Spa. It was simply amazing and no pictures will do it justice. These first few picts are of us right by our cabins, it's at 'M" Cafe. Is it amazing or what.

One day we decided to hit Disneyland. Kelsch's, Us, Dani and Wade family, my sister Kari and two wonderful sitters Bergan Nelson and Sarah Henderson, they were such help and super fun. They watched the kids while us adults hit dinner at night.

We also headed to Medievel Times.........The joust and dinner show. I can honestly say this was a shocker. We didn't know what to expect and yet it was AMAZING, the food and the show....You all must see...I am pretty sure it's similar to the one at the excalibur. But we had a blast.

The Cabins we stayed in, a perfect patch of grass in front that made for a wiffle ball field being used 24/7. The kids all do so well together. We love them all.

One evening we had a huge Kickball game. Super Competitive also I would have to say, this is another plot of land on Calamingos Ranch. You don't even have to leave this Ranch, everything is right there. Its one of the prettiest places I have ever been.

Happy 30th Dani!!!!!!!

My sisters, mom and I along with Dani's good friends Michelle and Cam Kelsch threw Dani a 30th surprise party. It's a tradition us sisters have. The only tricky thing is trying to still make it a surprise though they know its coming. I think we did a pretty good job with this one. We threw it a week or so early.

Wade did a good job to help, and yet keep things on the down low. This is just seconds after the surprise shout!!!!!

I have to admit I was super excited to use my new Happy Birthday Banner I made. It's huge and so is the Kelsch's home where the party was.

The hit of the night was Kareoke. WE HAD A BLAST, Cam was singing every other song which made it hard to get in there and perform but we made it work.....

Russ Guest Speaker at Youth Conference.....

Not that I didn't think it would be but this turned out to be a really neat thing for Russ and I. It seems like just yesterday we were the Youth at Youth Conference, and now the Guest Speaker is my spouse. WE must be getting old.

Russ did an amazing job. He spoke on Patriatism, Air Force Pilot techniques and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The kids were so respectful and eveyone treated us so good.

it really works out. OK so mainly Russ and the kids planted it, but boy am I enjoying the benefits. Russ and Madi were our number one go getters, as you see below Tia and koda were cheering them on from the sides.

Easter Fun 2011

We had a superb Spring Break combined with Easter fun in St. George. We rode up to Snow Canyon for a picnic and montain climbed, combined with a little baseball. The kids always have so much fun. We were joined by my mom and dad, Dani, Wade and kids.

These two are a riot, the were checking tires and chaines.....

Below: Saturday morning Cam and Michelle Kelsh invited us over with her siblings, Buck, Kari, Dani, Wade and the kids. We had a fabulous Easter egg hunt. The kids enjoyed every second of it.

There were hidden eggs all over the yard, and many in the pool. The pool eggs had rocks in them so they could sink. Once the kids brought a pool egg to Dani and Michelle they got to pick a prize. They were so excited, it kept the older kids kinda busy in the pool so the younger ones could focus on candy eggs in the yard. Actually very clever.

And of coarse the men and kids had their Chicken fights, we aren't sure who had more fun, the kids or Dads......

My Kids, My Joy!!!!

It seems like just lately more than ever our kids have made us so proud. Doing little things here or there to make us realize some things we are doing must be working. Here are just a couple, they have shared with us. I love these kids with all my heart.

Madison

Madi is getting ready to be baptized in July, she is super excited. We have been talking a lot about it and preparing. The other day at dinner she looked at Russ and I and proceeded to tell us that she asked Zoie a school friend to come to her baptism. We were so proud of her. She then took her an invite for a primary activity. About a week later again at the dinner table she tells us that she asked Zoie (non member) if she wanted to be baptized. Russ and I had this canning ability to act calm though kicking each other under the table. She said her friend Zoie said, "Madi I just don't know that is a really big step for me". I am so proud of her. What an example. She has asked more people to be baptized than I have. We love you Madi. Keep it up.

Koda Bear

This little Boy is just flat out fun. Kindergarten has been his missing link, all day kindergarten that is. His teacher is the other link. We have had a fabulous year. Koda came home from school the other day, told me his teacher said to look me in the eye and tell me something. So I stopped and bent over looking at him. He grabbed me by the hand and said, Mrs. Haire (teacher) said to tell you, your the luckiest mom on earth to have me as a son. ARE YOU SERIOUS. Isn't that adorable. He gets shining example so much in class, that is their behavorial incentive, gets it so much that when HE DOESN'T we get after him. At first we thought all kids got them everyday then we found out they don't we nearly died, Koda seriously gets it four out of five days a week. HE is a STUD....I love you little Man...

Where do I begin with Miss Tia, she is currently helping me team teach our preschool class. She is supose to be a student but loves to take over. The other day I was asking her about a friend and why she was crying. Tia had just told me a long story about this gal and so I proceeded to ask now why was she crying. She looked at me with the most sincere look on her face and said, "Mom I have no I Clue???? I seriously couldn't hold it in, " No I Clue" is that adorable. My family still laughs. She is so much fun, and will be even more fun in a few months when she grows out of this little bossy stage she is in:)...........Tia I can't live without you.....

Oh my goodness. Where do I start. I have been married to this man for about 10 years. He is so amazing at so many things. I would have to say he is the Greatest Husband and Father on this earth. Saturday, we wanted to get out of the house before Kodas baseball game

so we headed up to Blue Diamond for a hike. It's a fun little town with some

pretty little sights. The kids did a triathlon here so we kinda knew where to go, other

wise good luck.......

Anytime you tell the kids we are going hiking, they have mixed feelings, we have

taken them on some pretty crazy hikes, although this one they loved......exploring, gathering sticks and jumping out of trees.

From Hawaii to Cruise........What the?????

Soooo......Where do I begin. Russ and I have had a trip to Hawaii planned for a few month. My sister Dani and her husband Wade were going for their 10th anniversary so we thought we would join. Our 10th is in June. Well we had gotten everything ready including several groupons bought to save us major mula. Well the night before us flying out, well actually midnight we got a call.........we turned on cnn online (we don't have t.v.) and sure enough Tsunami hits Japan and Hawaii is now being warned it might head that way. We all sat their stunned and yet so devistated for those suffering in Japan. We played it safe, put our Hawaii tickets on hold and booked a cruise for the next morning at an unbelievable price. I mean how many people are going to book a cruise just the night prior. Lets just say you get a good deal. So we drove to L.A. and go on the ship heading to the Mexican Reviera the next morning. Russ and I took the same cruise for our honeymoon so worked out kinda nice. BUT Hawaii is still awaiting our arrival hopefully later this year.

This was the kids the night before we left, they weren't very sad about us leaving, they were going to stay with Grandma, Aunt Nikki, then Cousin Sam was coming to spend a few days so they could go to school. 9 days without mom and dad.

OK SO we Zip Lines over the major Jungles of Mexico. THE FUNNEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE......I am not kidding what a rush.......

How could we not hold this Trantula, proof how brave we are. We knew the kids would love these pictures and think we are untouchable.......

Below: So we paid this guy to take us snorkeling and whale watching. WE took this glass bottom boat (I swear I saw bubbles coming up through) any ways we went way to far out if you ask me, and sure enough Whales jumping. I was freaking out. We ran into 3 and 4 at a time and they were just a jumping, I mean you could see way to much. It was amazing. BUT SUPER SCARY, then he would speed right towards them. WE came within 20 yards. I have video to prove it. WAY TO CLOSE......ANOTHER RUSH

So we met the neatest funnest people. We will be freinds for life. The Tafts from Bountiful. These two kids with their Parents (not shown). We sat by them at dinner. WE went on all excursions together and had a blast. We totally love them and felt like they were family. We hope to see them soon. It's amazing how close you can feel to some people so quickly.

MAN I LOVE THIS MAN.......Look at how dang handsome he is. This was such an amazing week for us. The perfect 10year. Thank you my love. We had the time of our lives. I found out one of our favorite things to do is dance, you almost forget until a cruise. HOLY COW, so much fun. WE loved being with Dani and Wade, we laughed every second. SO SO FUN, we worked out every morning, danced every night, (what a work out). AND ATE and ATE and ATE...........we will be recovering for days.

SOOOOO I am sitting in the sun loving life with Russ comes and tells me we are in a competition. GOSH!!!!! So in front of hundreds we were in a relay, we swam, dove, and passed a water balloon. Nothing like racing in a suit, I guess you just grin and bear it. We had a great time but won so it was worth it, FINE we lost.

Why does this Place have to be sooooo fun........We went with Dani and her family and had a blast of coarse.....it always is that much more fun when there are no lines and you get right on and off every ride........

So TIA, was the most ideal 3year old at Disneyland this year. She would stand out in the middle of the streets with her arms wide open and expect the characterst to come to her.......and some did, she would run across streets and but in line in front of others and sure enough they would accept her.....She loved the characters. I mean loved them. She would keep telling us she just wanted them to hold her.....Like pick her up......Oh my she was fun....

Russ and I just had the greatest Week of our lives........Seriously.....Our good friends Michelle and Cam Kelsh invited us to the Soft opening of their newest Fitness Ridge Spa that joined with Biggest Loser in Malibu CA. It was amazing.....

We ate 1200 calories a day and worked out up to 7 hours a day. The food was amazing, prepared by a magnificant chef.

We hiked two hours every morning in the amazing mountains of Malibu. GEORGEOUS. This is where we took all the pictures, I obviously didn't take my camera in the pool, or workout rooms.

Us with Daris, this kid is a stud. One of our new best friends. We seriously became pretty close to him, he was in our group and so fun. He was on Season 9, Lost tons of weight, we couldn't believe it. Russ and I had never watched the show so after meeting him we went back and looked it up on line. HOLY COW, the next morning I gave him a big hug. Couldn't believe him before...Michael and Danny former winners where there with us also. Cool Guys. What Will power...

Our Glorious Week

My sister and her husband took of to Malibu for a week at the spa. I however had the privlidge of watching the kidos. It has been fun, eventfull and challenging all at the same time. I only say challenging because I am 15 weeks pregnant and the energy just isn't all here. Everytime I took a sit on the bean bag to watch a movie the door rang continuously of little ones wanting to play...which is great....but the stairs (up and down up and down) are just a little to tough to be packing extra weight. While Madi and Koda are at school Tia does good to hang out and chill and take naps...but she still wants to have more fun than i'm capable at this point. She is such a help though. They have all been so good and we had a fun week.

Monday Funday

The kids were lucky and got to spend an extra day at Grandmas which meant no school on Monday for them and then we stayed up a little later than usual to watch Charlotte's Web.

Tuesday Bluesday

We all wore blue and when they came home from school there was a big bag of blue candy waiting. Probably not the best idea but they were thrilled. :)

Wednesday Spendsday

We played long and hard outside and then went and blew all our money mom and dad left on McDonalds. Yum yum yum!!

Thursday...oh nothing rhymed with Thursday so we didn't really celebrate anything too special or take a special picture. They still had fun and played hard though.

Oh and this...this happened every day. First Tia would read to me (making it all up of course which was hilarious) and finally she'd fall asleep. She understands that because I'm pregnant I'm tired and hungry a lot. I hope her parents don't come back to a butterball Tia that is 2x the size she used to be. I eat every two hours which means so does she and she's a good little eater. I'll finish before she does. She'll sit there politely and quietly until she finishes, put her dish in the sink and then come find me with her hand full of treats.

Koda is in Kindergarten (ALL DAY) Age 5 Mrs. Haire. HE love love loved it. He didn't think twice about me leaving him, I don't even think all day was enough for him....

And don't even think about leaving her out, Tia, Age 3 Going on 18. Miss Mandi's Preschool (that is me of coarse and we don't even start school till next week, but you can bet she was in her new clothes, shoes, lunch made and backpack on like the other kids........SHE is Ready to go as the picture shows......We love our new School....

Well well, it's been a while....but memories have been made....I am trying so hard to keep up on this massive scrapbook journal but it isn't easy. I'm trying so hard to put in the most memorable things so I can soon print books for the kids. This past weekend was one of them for sure. We were invited by Katie and Waki our neighbors that have become Grandparents to CA (where they are from) to watch their nephew (worlds champ in fire dancing) in a Luau. WE HAD A BLAST.....

It Started off with swimming at the motel, always so much fun. IT was Russ and I with our kids, Grandma Marcia and Dani and Wade and their Kids.

Then later that evening we went to the Resort where the Luau was held. It was amazing, Waki's brother is over all the dancers, here, Disneyland and Polynesian Culture Center in Hawaii, they are super talented. Waki danced himself many moons ago. We had a pig roast, Ate the best food ever and watched the dancers.......OH and surprise surprise they called up my mom, dani and I to dance with them......They had it planned the whole time and boy was it a hoot, my mom was actually super good, but Dani and I joked our way through it....

And of coarse what is a CA trip with out the BEACH, we had a blast.

We just love these two, Katie and Waki Leaitaua. They treat our kids like their own and Russ and I like their kids. We are so greatful to have met them. They both come from amazing backgrounds. They are such hidden treasures that we are so greatful we found. We love you Both.....

Hancock Flat Shaheen Camping Trip & 4th July

We started celebrating the 4th about a week prior camping with my family. We camped at Hancock Flat (by fishlake). We were there about a week then on the fourth we went down to Salina for the festivities. We had a BLAST. The kids were free to roam, eat super healthy food, not, never bathe and ride their four wheelers when ever they wanted. What a life....

My mom working and cooking the whole time. She is the greatest. You will not find better dutch oven camping cookers than my parents. Ask anyone....

Aunt Marianne was a hit with glow sticks, playdough, beads and a yummy salad.

Don't you worry we won this race but really biffed it at the end while we were celebrating. Good TImes........

As Many of you Know I teach Preschool. Smarty Pants. This is the end of my second year. I have had a wonderful year. I am going to miss all these kids. It's amazing how you grow to love each one of them. I of coarse also loved teaching my own kids. Koda will be going to Kindergarten next year and boy will I miss him. This was an amazing year.......I will miss you all..........

Playing Catch-Up....TRIATHLON

It's been a while since I posted so I am trying to catch up a little. Like everyone else

we have been unbelievably busy... I just finished a triathlon today and couldn't seem to put the pictures in order so they are total backwards order....but hey at least they are up.

These first ones are from hiking at redrock, and riding the loop.

We Take the kids up the steeet to the end of city limits and they can ride their four wheelers. They are loving them and getting a little more daring, which is not always good. It works out that Russ is a great bike rider he can keep right up with them.

For Easter we went to Vernal to Visit Bo and Marianne and the kids. We had a great time. Dinosaur museum, egg hunting and camping with friends. We truly had a wonderful time.

This was quite the triathlon, it was the Lakes of Las Vegas, women only. 800meter swim, 18.2 mile bike and 3.1 run up dirt hills, kinda a hard one compared to what I am use to, but boy do you feel good afterwards. I didn't wear a wet suit in the lake and it was kinda cold but other than that everything felt good. Russ and Kids were there to watch and cheer mom on, it's amazing how that helps you keep a going......

We Celebrated Valentines this last weekend becuause we are leaving town ......

Russ showed up friday night with a Babysitter, Roses and a very Romantic Letter. We drove up to Mt. Charleston slowly in Snow ( help set the mood). We drove to the Lodge, Russ carried in the Roses for our table which sat by the balcony and fire looking over fallen slow. We had a wonderful romantic dinner and drove home, again slowly. When we got home he had my gifts wrapped on the table, with exciting kids awaiting my opening them. Russ is so good at stuff like this, I hate to say but better than me. Thanks a lot Hun, I loved my gifts and the perfect Romantic VALENTINES night......xoxoxo

Dani and Wade brought their kids and came to town. We had a great time. We spent time visiting and playing at our home. We swam in the warm pools at Trendwest Resort downtown. This picture has more to say than you can imagine. There isn't a day Tia isn't there ready to watch Russ Shave. She has been known to ask Russ to get her before he starts shaving. It is amazing, especially when I did the same thing as a child. I mean you can't teach these things to kids and they still pick it up, things you did as a child.

Russ took Tia on a date yesterday, he even bought her a dress while they were out. She hasn't quit talking about it. Russ said it was so worth it cause she gave him a kiss on the cheek. My mom said she will never marry because she will try and find a man like Russ. I guess that is quite the compliment to me. Don't get me wrong he isn't perfect, but Boy is he a Catch....

OH WOW What a Month.......Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Season. We sure did. As you can see below the kids were spoiled and yet had a wonderful Christmas. I have to admit I was pretty much sick the whole break. It started with Absessed tonsils and just went on from there. WE stayed in St. George most of the time and had a great time with family. Between the Wii, four wheelers and Tia's new bike all our time has been filled with these new joyful items. As I look back over this past month I am reminded of the fun this gifts bring along with how time flies. Most of all I have been so hit with the gratitude I have for My Heavenly Father, and my Savior. I feel like I have learned more over this last month that a lifetime and am so grateful for my blessings. My family, My Life.

My Parents heated their pool to about 100 degrees over Christmas break and boy did we love it. Believe it or not at times it was even tooo hot....

I'm not gonna lie.....this years Chritmas Card was a flop.....down to the location (we had to hurry and pull over cause sun was falling so fast)..didn't make it to the mountains, then the day I needed to send them to get printed I was moving out of my house....Then the postal man lost them.....Didn't get the photoshoping done I should have.....WHATEVER.....BUT

First of all I have to say.....There are many pictures to follow...We took the kids sledding up at Mt. Charleston (30 mins from our home) There is a ski resort and all......who ever knew Vegas had a ski resort....Anyways we had a BLAST. The kids had the time of their lives. Russ and I laughed the whole time watching them jump and slide. I TOOK several picts of Tia standing so adorable.....I photoshoped some more than others, you will see......A VERY MEMORABLE day as a mother.........PRICELESS

Thanksgiving was a fabulous time here in Las Vegas for our family.

My parents, Buck, Kari, Kaeli and Doug came. We had a great time, Cooking, Shopping, Eating, playing nerf gun tag, and watching Football. Thanks everyone for coming. I would have to say my highlight was getting up at 3am black friday and getting my killer deal frontload washer and dryers..........it was a sacrafice but well worth it.

We have so much to be thankful for, and we are so Grateful for all our blessings.

Like many of you we have been extremely busy.....

First off the Magical Forest had a free for Military night so we took advantage of that

with some friends and had a great time....It really gets you in the chirstmas spirit, trains, slides and SANTA.....

Little Miss Tia has been keeping up with all of us, she is getting so big and SO DANG ADORABLE, she has been the perfect #3 child........

They are just so different than so many other little boys, very distinctive...tough...maybe it's I know one day they will take care of his mom, I don't know. I just love them.

One of my favorite stories of Koda this past year: We were driving home from Lake Powell and he says to Russ and I, "So how did you two meet anyway?" It was so random yet adorable. Needless to say we told the story and he seemed to aprove.

I think like many of you I get on a kick of wanting to accomplish some fun homemade things, We have been needing some job charts in the house....I printed these 11x14 like pictures so we can write their jobs in and erase with dry erase markers.....they are actually pretty big. But I'll tell you what the kids are excited......so far it's working and we haven't even started

This is a corkboard I saw in michaels and just had to have, my friend Megan and I stayed up till midnight finishing them, so fun, and it will look great in Madi's room

Last Weekend Oct. 16-18th, Russ and I had the opportunity to fly quickly to Idaho to be with the Brown family. Tom, Russ's brother is getting deployed for about 8 months or so. We had a great get together. His sister Shelly had a dinner catered and we were able to watch football, soccer and just visit. We had a great time.

Russ's Accident

Before I begin you need to know Russ is ok......

As many of you know Russ was in a horrible accident Saturday the 10th of October. At about 1245 he was heading back from getting our trailer up in Northern Utah by Fishlake. It was a 30 foot toy hauler with two four wheelers in it. Which makes a heavy load. The trailer started to fishtale and he coudln't gain control again. The trailer seperated itself from Russ throwing him (in our suv Tahoe) into the median rolling a couple times then down a 20Ft overpass rolling another 4 to 6 times. The pictuers attached show the hill he came down then the big cement columns that were on the road down below to stop him. WHen he stopped he said a prayer and quickly pulled himself out of the sunroof. Others that stopped immediately saw our childrens carseats all over and began to look for children. Russ immediately told them he was alone. (thank heavens no one else would have survived) the crazy thing is he was for sure going to take Tia and last minute decided to leave her. I thank Heavenly Father hourly that she didn't go and that Russ is ok and a true miracle. The cops couldn't believe he was the driver when they got there, he was sitting outside the vehicle calling 911 himself. They truly couldn't believe he survived. They also mentioned that that vehicle helped save his life, it's big and strong, though I loved my car very much it was a great trade, I will buy a vehicle just like it to prove my gratitude (and love for it)hee hee, Needless to say Russ is doing wonderful, he is up and at it and you wouldn't believe it ever happened. I know that this was a blessing for me alone. I couldn't have lived with out him. Thanks to all of your prayers, we know they are with us each day. I owe my Heavenly Father big.......

Twins Birthday VISIT!!!!

Man I love them....We have so much fun...Their birthday is next weekend and a little

busy for all three of us so we celebrated this past weekend. We shopped and ate and laughed and laughed. Madison had a soccer game on Saturday so we got to watch her play, then we hung out with the kids most of the morning and then took off for every store in Vegas.

UNTIL NEXT YEAR.........It is so hard to see them leave, Tia cried and cried it's amazing how

hard it is when your kids get so attached to their Aunts... Love you Gals.

Injuries, 2 ER trips in One WEEK

*****OK so I haven't blogged for a while and it's not cause things aren't happening around here that's for sure.......****

Russ and I have been trainning for a triathlon in Oct. Well I was out on my bike and biffed it bad, like full on bike flipped, I walked back to my house and realized my wrist hurt BAD, so I took myself to the ER (Russ out of town) and there were just a couple small fractures but still hurt dang bad, needless to say my training has been put on a hault. This was on Saturday.

The Following Friday I took Koda in the Dr. for a Rash, my wrist check up and Tia has bumps and a bad toe we needed checked. I ran over her toe with a shopping cart full of sand about two weeks ago. Her big toenail feel off and I wanted to check her for infection. This trip was good, everyone healing correctly.

THEN, the next day Saturday, My little Koda Bear, Wild and wooly little boy was doing nothing wild as usual but feel off the couch and cut his eye on the window seal and sure enough....Back to the ER for stitches. Holy Cow, luckily Russ hadn't got to Priesthood meetings yet and took Koda for me. I guess I should just be greatful we have insurance cause this could have been one expensive week for us. I am grateful but it's amazing how some weeks can just be hard..........

I cried like a baby, Madi and her teacher saw, it was awful, Russ forbid me not to go and get her out at 10am, then at lunch I worried who would help her with everything, then I wondered if people would be nice to her, and what if they said things around her I don't want her hearing*******

********Along with this Koda asked me all day to go get her cause he was bored to DEATH. WOW, how are we gonna do? As for Madi she loved every second, wasn't scared of anhything and how I don't know.............I mean six hours away, she seems so small......it just isn't right............

Like Many of you......we have been to the greatest reunion ever.......we went camping in Koosharem (by fishlake) where my mom grew up. We camped ate, rode horse, ate, hit pinatas,ate, played annie I over, ate and relaxed...

we went to fishlake lodge to church, it is always a neat experience going to church in the mountains.......

We rode four wheelers all over Monroe mountain, the kids love to ride and it was so unbelievably beautiful

Russ kinda surprised me and the kids with this new toy hauler trailer....and green four wheeler, we loved them....our family just didn't fit on one four wheeler any more but we hope to get a lot of use out of our new trailer.............

May 29th My little Sister Kaeli and her new husband Doug Fowles got married..........

Such a FUN wedding.......thanks to everyone who helped it was a marvelous day.

What can I say.......Russ and I just went on a great Get Away........No kids, that was good and bad, missed them like crazy yet ran our guts out and couldn't have done it with kiddos. We saw the yankees play........Spent a full day in Palymra catching all the church history sites including sealings in the temple. This was amazing, my favorite was the Bookstore the Book of Mormon was first printed in. Then that night watched the Hill Cumorah Pageant. (below)

We were with my brother Bron and his wife Megan the whole trip and had such an amazing time with them. Thanks Guys.

I had to take this picture with spider-man for my son Koda, the picture below is on the top of the Empire State Building, HOLY COW, I loved this along with seeing the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island it was all amazing....

Megan and I hit Broadway and watched Little Mermaid, sooooo good. Then met up with the boys here in Time Square. The picture below says it all, this was as outstanding as you would think, I suggest you all visit this holy place..

We went into Canada, ate at the restaurant that rotates 360 degrees and watched the falls, this was a beautiful romantic night, Megan and I walked through central park and hit the Met. museum while the boys tried to catch batting practice at yankee stadium...

This was truly amazing trip, New York is just what I expected................Fun.....Busy.......Crazy......Noisy........

While in New York my sister in law Megan and I messed with some posing and photography. This is my little neice Lilly, (Bron and Megans Little girl), she was so prescious and adorable the whole time, this is one of many sleeping poses.

Delta for the 4th!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July................ and we can't imagine having a fourth without Delta Ut. This is our second year in a row there and we love it......

Cousins galore.....

This year my family and some friends played in a volleyball tournament, it was so dang much fun, we played till midnight and actually did better than we expected....

The kids loved the Parade as always, they get ooooooooodles of candy and as you can see below our favorite is when the kids get in with the fish and try and catch them.....this is a riot to watch

They even have a kids parade, so all the kids rode their scooters and bikes...it was so cute

And last but not least is the RES, many fun times here, thanks to all that made it such a good fourth of July and see you next year........

OK I need to thanks so many people

that played a part in my SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY.

...................... All you that came with such fun gifts, those of you who couldn't come but wrote such nice things about me. I bawled like a baby. It's so hard when so many people put so much time into something for you. It is so overwhelming. Thank You, Russ for the bike, Dani and Kari for the Movie of my life you made and the amazing book, I love you all.....................

Sand Hollow is truly one of our favorite places, it's so easy to get to and so marvelous once there, the kids had a great time with all our little cousins.

Dutch Oven and Camping at MT. Charleston: So many people would never know 30 minutes away from Vegas are the greatest mtns. and camping. The kids love it, we love going their especially with fun friends, thanks Nelson's.

Shopping and Kareoke Grill @ Coyote's
